This month, SDi participated in two significant industry events: the North Carolina Security and Low Voltage Association‘s (NCSLVA) Annual Convention in Cherokee, North Carolina, and the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association’s (LLSSA) 11th Annual Dealer Conference in Natchitoches, Louisiana. At both events, attendees had the opportunity to explore the Testifire XTR2 experience, featuring the tester, DetectorTesters Connect app, and reporting portal.

NCSLVA Annual Convention:

Held on May 2nd at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, the NCSLVA Annual Convention marked SDi’s debut appearance at this key event. Brandon Heffernan, SDi’s Southeast Business Development Manager and a member of NCSLVA, represented the company. The convention offered excellent networking opportunities, training sessions, and exhibits, making it an ideal venue for connecting with existing and potential customers in North Carolina. The Testifire XTR2 drew considerable interest, particularly for its innovative connectivity features, rapid smoke generation, and new panel integration capabilities— a feature that will be officially introduced at NFPA this June.

LLSSA Annual Dealer Conference:

On May 22-23, SDi was present at the LLSSA Annual Dealer Conference held at the Natchitoches Event Center. This conference caters to fire industry professionals in northeast Louisiana and includes a range of activities such as a welcome reception, business and technical tracks, a tradeshow, and a state meeting. Tyler Phillips, SDi’s Southern Business Development Manager and LLSSA member, attended and appreciated the opportunity to engage with individuals from the Louisiana area regarding Testifire XTR2.
