SDi is honored to be a supporter of the 16th Annual Walk to End Lupus Now South Jersey fundraiser, organized by the Lupus Foundation of America. This remarkable event aims to raise funds that will greatly enhance the quality of life for the estimated 1.5 million individuals living with lupus in the United States and 5 million people globally. The funds raised through this walk will be dedicated to supporting research initiatives, programs, and resources specifically designed for individuals with lupus.  Additionally, they will contribute to outreach efforts and provide compassionate support to individuals with lupus and their families and caregivers, assisting them in navigating the challenges associated with this condition.

On May 19th, Team SDi took part in the 2024 Walk to End Lupus Now event held at the Ocean City Boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ. The team had the option to participate in a 2-mile walk, a 4-mile walk, or a virtual walk. Although our headquarters is in New Jersey, we have team members located across the United States, so some of us took part in the virtual walk. This  was our first year participating in the fundraiser, and we are delighted to announce that we not only exceeded our fundraising goal but also ranked as one of the top fundraising teams, raising a total of $3,155.56. Additionally, Nicole Ryan, SDi’s Accounting Administrator, was acknowledged as one of the top walkers and received an award for raising over $1,000. SDi extends its heartfelt congratulations to Nicole for her dedicated fundraising efforts, and we take pride in supporting the Lupus Foundation of America.
