The year 2024 has commenced with great success! Our team has been actively engaged in participating in trade shows, not just within the United States, but also in Latin America. These trade shows have presented us with invaluable opportunities to engage with both our current and prospective customers, while simultaneously showcasing the outstanding features of our products. Testifire XTR2 has continued to make appearances at many of these shows, with its reporting features receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees, cementing its popularity at each of these events.

In Orlando, Florida, Brandon Heffernan, Southeast Business Development Manager attended the Alarm Association of Florida’s Annual Convention This conference, which took place from February 22nd to 24th, attracted more than 300 professionals from the electronic security and life safety industry across the Southeast region. In addition to the trade show, attendees were given the opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits over the course of two full days, fulfilling their licensing renewal requirements. The Testifire XTR2 garnered significant attention at this event, and it was accompanied by Trutest, sharing the spotlight. Trutest has gained significant popularity in the Southeast due to its ability to meet sensitivity testing requirements.

Throughout the year, the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association hosts numerous events in various parts of the state. Tyler Phillips, Southern Business Development Manager, and member of LLSSA, regularly attends the association’s trade shows and state meetings. On March 5th, Tyler participated in the Region II State Meeting in Baton Rouge, LA. The meeting agenda encompassed business, technicians, and state updates from LLSSA. Testifire XTR2, Testifire, and Solo 365 were prominently displayed at SDi’s table, showcasing our comprehensive line of electronic testers.

Over in the Northeast, Pat Ryan, Northeast Business Development Manager, and TJ Haluska, Eastern Sales Coordinator, attended the New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association’s Annual Symposium. The conference is held annually at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City and this year it was held on February 28-March 1^st. SDi is delighted to participate in this event every year and show support to NJELSA as a member. The NJELSA Annual Symposium attracted a crowd of over 300 attendees from the tri-state area. This year, NJELSA reintroduced the Symposium Scramble, where attendees had the opportunity to win prizes by visiting exhibitors and scanning a QR code at their booth. At SDi’s booth, we showcased Testifire XTR2, Testifire, Solo 365, and Cell Checker.

Besides these exhibitions in the United States, SDi also had a significant presence in Latin America at the Syscom Expo. This notable event took place at the World Trade Center in Mexico City on March 6-7. Our team at International W effectively represented SDi and showcased the complete range of Solo testers. SDi will be back in Mexico, in just a few weeks where we will be once again attending Expo Seguridad.
