This November, SDi proudly participated at the American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians (ASCET) Northeast Regional Training & Expo as a Gold Sponsor. The event was held at Kimberton Fire Company in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, which was a terrific venue. The event was very busy with approximately 100 attendees present. In addition to exhibit tables, the event offered many opportunities for earning CEUs, including three training sessions that were presented by Tim Kinsely, The Automatic Fire Alarm Association’s (AFAA) National Training Director.

Pat Ryan, SDi’s Northeast Business Development Manager was on-site, showcasing the Testifire 2001 Multicriteria Detector Tester, Solo 365 Electronic Smoke Detector Tester, and the Testifire XTR2. Many attendees were excited to see a demo of the new, connected solution – Testifire XTR2. SDi looks forward to attending more events with ASCET in the future!

On November 16th, Tyler Phillips, Southern Business Development Manager attended the Louisiana Life Safety and Security Association (LLSSA)’s 27th Annual Convention & Trade Show. The trade show was held at The Pontchartrain Center in Kenner, Louisiana, and included many opportunities for CEUs, a state meeting, and a trade show. It’s always great to be back in Louisiana and LLSSA always hosts bustling events! Prior to the LLSSA Annual Convention, SDi had attended the 2023 LLSSA’s State Meetings and the Dealer Conference.

At the LLSSA Annual Convention, SDi offered demos for all of our electronic testers including Testifire, Solo 365, and Testifire XTR2. The electronic testers are always a hit since they offer faster and cleaner testing with capsule technology and the built-in clearing mode. Additionally, SDi’s Cell Checker was also on display for product demos. We look forward to returning to Louisiana to attend more LLSSA events in the new year!
