SDi has kicked off the busy trade show season in December and is continuing to travel from coast to coast with many in-person trade shows in 2022. Our sales team is excited to be back on the road traveling and glad to finally be back to normalcy. In December, SDi exhibited at the California Alarm Association’s (CAA) Winter Convention where we had many quality conversations with colleagues and customers in the fire industry. This past February Brandon Heffernan, Southeast Regional Sales Manager and Samantha Heffernan, Marketing Coordinator traveled to Palm Springs, California for the California Automatic Fire Alarm Association’s (CAFAA) 52^nd Annual Conference where SDi was proud to be recognized as a silver sponsor. Pat Ryan, Northeast Regional Sales Manager attended the New Jersey Electronic Life Safety Association (NJELSA) Annual Symposium in Atlantic City, NJ where he had many opportunities to speak to new customers about Speech Intelligibility Testing.

March has had a very busy start with four trade shows! Andrea Barghini, Central Regional Sales Manager was excited to join Convergint at their 2022 InterNational Partner Night in Dallas Texas. Once again, SDi was proud to be a sponsor at this well-attended event. Additionally, Mariana Ferguson, Northwest Regional Sales Manager attended the 2022 Potter Business Development Conference in San Diego, California. At this conference Mariana presented on “NFPA 72: Inspections, Testing & Maintenance” during two breakout sessions.

Next up was SFPE Atlanta, which was a very exciting show for us because it was the first time that SDi has displayed Scorpion at a trade show in the United States. Our team had built a display that Brandon Heffernan brought to Atlanta, Georgia for the conference. This was our first year exhibiting at SFPE Atlanta and not only was the trade show well-attended with many attendees stopping by SDi’s table, but many attendees were excited to see a live demo of Scorpion. While this was the first time that SDi had showcased Scorpion at a trade show in the United States, our partners at International W introduced Scorpion at Syscom’s 2022 Expo in Guadalajara Mexico in February. SDi will be back on the road at the end of March as Rick Heffernan travels to Las Vegas, Nevada for ISC West, where he will be meeting with customers and attending seminars. We’re so glad to see the shift from virtual events back to in-person events and look forward to our line up of trade shows this spring.
