1. Turn the unit off.
Remove the battery, smoke cartridge and smoke generator. Ensure the contacts are clean and not damaged. In particular look at the contacts on the cartridge, 2 sets on the generator (where the cartridge goes in and also on the base), and finally on the unit itself.
2. Hold the smoke generator so you are looking into the cartridge opening at the silver tube. Press the flexible tube at the lower back of the generator and see if the liquid comes out of the silver tube.
Keep doing this until it does.
3. Carefully re-insert the smoke generator, then the smoke cartridge and finally the battery. Ensure the clips engage securely for each component, and especially for the generator. Press and hold the generator down firmly for a few seconds to “seat” the generator. When inserting the smoke cartridge, retain the pressure on the back of the cartridge for at least 3 seconds to ensure a secure fit.
Switch the unit on.
4. With the front of the unit facing you, cover the inside right of the cup that joins the yoke (where you can see the clear plastic lens).
This will start a smoke test sequence for 2 minutes or until you remove your hand. Smoke should be produced during this time, but repeat up to 3-4 times if not successful.
A red LED on the front of the unit means a consumable has run out and needs to be replaced. Replace the consumable which will be the smoke cartridge and / or the smoke generator.

2. Switch the unit on. If a new generator has been installed the unit will automatically run a “purge” cycle.
3. With the front of the unit facing you, cover the inside right of the cup that joins the yoke (where you can see the clear plastic lens).

Warning LED’s indicating both low generator and cartridge content can mean your smoke generator has not been recognized. The following steps will guide you on how to solve the fault and get the unit back up and running.

Firmware Updates
This utility can be used to update your Solo 365 to the latest Firmware release. Updating the Firmware brings performance and stability enhancements.
Before you begin you will need the following:
- A Laptop or PC
- A micro USB cable
- Your Solo 365 complete with fully charged battery, smoke generator and smoke cartridge
